Town of Bargersville recently issued the following announcement.
We will be participating in Rock The Block Run again this year! Rock the Block is a block party style run/walk that benefits local organizations. In order for the Town to qualify for grant funds, we need 20 runners/walkers and 5 volunteers to sign up under “Town of Bargersville” by February 28th.
Important Notes:
- Registration is currently $25.
- We must have 20 runners/walkers and 5 volunteers signed up under our name by February 28th in order to qualify for grant funds
- Volunteers must be available to work a 2-hour time slot between 6-11am on event day
- Volunteering is free
- The more runners/walkers we have sign up the more money we will receive.
- There is a $2/person discount if you sign up at least 3 people at a time.
- There is a “sleep in” option ($20) available starting March 1st for those that would just like to donate. As long as you select our organization, we still receive credit.
