On Friday, Feb. 28, former Martinsville High School standout Ella Whitney’s current college team, the Ball State Cardinals, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders.

The game took place at Blue Raider Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Blue Raiders this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. at Blue Raider Softball Field against Illinois State Redbirds.
