Johnson County Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Safe Sitter is a babysitting course for ages 11-16 held over two, 3-hour sessions. Cost is $25.00 for materials and is paid when items are picked up.
This class will be held ONLINE: Safe Sitter is a babysitting course recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics. It teaches 11-16 year olds how to be safe and nurturing caregivers and to handle emergencies. Pre-registration forms need to be filled out by parent/guardian at the library or online at https://www.pageafterpage.org/safe-sitter.
