Athlete of the Week:
June Lee (Louisville, Ky.) Transylvania University | First-Year - Lee competed in the Lee & Duncan Invitational at Rhodes College on Monday and Tuesday against No. 19 Rhodes College, No. 16 Denison University, and No. 15 Berry College. In a field of 35 golfers, Lee finished in fifth place while shooting +11 throughout two rounds. Her round one score was 77 while her round two score was 78.
Notable Performances:
Kiley Cline (Fostoria, Ohio) Bluffton University | First-Year - Cline led the Beavers to a second place finish at the Bluffton Spring Invite, behind regional-power ONU by just 16 strokes. Her 164 set a new school record for 18 holes, while the 80 she fired on Sunday would have been a new school record but for the 75 that Hailey Gill shot the same day. She finished the tournament in second place.
Precious Saelee (Walnut, Calif.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Junior – Saelee stands seventh of 55 players in a field of otherwise NCAA Division I competition after day one of the Indiana State Invitational. Saelee scored a round of 77 to finish seventh and help Rose-Hulman place sixth of 9 teams in a field that has eight NCAA Division I opponents.
