NEWS | Griz Football Releases 2023 Schedule
The 2023 Franklin College football schedule is here and the upcoming slate of contests will see the Grizzlies in action for five games at Faught Stadium this coming fall.
The schedule begins with Football Alumni Day and a matchup with Olivet College on Sept. 2, kicking off back-to-back home contests for the Grizzlies to open the season. One week later on Sept. 9, Franklin hosts defending Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) champions and a quarterfinalist from last year's Division III playoffs in Aurora University. That game will also be the annual Salute to Service Day at Faught Stadium.
Non-conference play wraps up on Sept. 16 with a trip to Trine University before Franklin takes their bye week. The Grizzlies kick off conference play on Sept. 30 against Bluffton for the annual homecoming game and the conclusion of homecoming weekend. Other conference home games will see Franklin welcome Rose-Hulman to town for Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day on Oct. 21, as well as Manchester on Nov. 4 for Senior Day.
Conference road games will take the Grizzlies to Anderson on Oct. 7, Defiance on Oct. 14, defending league champion Mt. St. Joseph on Oct. 28 and to Hanover on Nov. 11 for the regular season finale and the Victory Bell Game.
